Helisafari is live
Curated helicopter trips, built on Helipaddy
Helipaddy has always answered one core question: where can I land?
Helisafari.com answers the next: what should I fly next?
Helisafari.com is a new platform for discovering, organising, and sharing helicopter journeys — from informal day fly-outs to structured multi-day tours and established fly-in events. It is designed for both pilots and organisers, and it integrates directly with Helipaddy.
For pilots: less research, better flying
Most pilots don’t struggle with flying — they struggle with planning. Helisafari removes that friction by presenting trips that already make sense.
Routes are curated with sensible legs, real destinations, and practical considerations in mind. Each stop is backed by live Helipaddy landing-site data, so permissions, fees, local notes, and photos are visible before you go. Pilots can fly routes solo, join group trips, or take part in private or premium experiences where numbers and quality matter.
The result is simple: fewer unknowns, fewer emails, and more enjoyable flying.
For organisers: structure without loss of control
Helisafari gives organisers a clean, credible way to present and manage trips without turning them into a marketplace listing.
Each event has a clear home: dates, routes, joining criteria, and limits are all visible in one place. Organisers approve who joins, decide whether a trip is public or private, and rely on Helipaddy’s existing landing-site data rather than maintaining duplicate information. It replaces scattered forum posts, PDFs, and message threads with something more durable and professional.
Importantly, it does this without changing how you already operate.
A clear statement on branding, bookings, and money
A common concern is whether Helisafari or Helipaddy might dilute an organiser’s brand, insert itself between organiser and pilot, or introduce commissions. That is explicitly not the model.
Helisafari does not run payments, take commission, or intercept bookings. There is no checkout, no ticketing flow, and no platform fee. All enquiries and bookings are referred directly to the organiser, under the organiser’s own name and branding. Pricing, payment methods, terms, and pilot communication remain entirely under the organiser’s control.
Helisafari is intentionally a discovery and coordination layer, not a transactional platform. The organiser–pilot relationship is preserved because it is the thing that actually matters.
How Helisafari and Helipaddy fit together
Helipaddy remains the authoritative source of landing-site data. Helisafari builds journeys, stories, and experiences on top of that foundation. Pilots move naturally from deciding where they can land to choosing what they want to fly. Organisers stop rebuilding the same infrastructure for every event.
The platforms are complementary, not competitive.
What’s available now — and what’s coming
Helisafari already supports curated public trips, private and premium groups, and full Helipaddy integration. Upcoming features focus on depth rather than volume: trip-based photo galleries, community-proposed routes with editorial approval, optional links to local partners, and improved tools for larger multi-day events.
Get involved
Pilots can browse trips, follow routes, or apply to join upcoming fly-outs.
Organisers can add existing or new trips or route ideas onto Helisafari without giving up control, branding, or revenue.
